Graduation is the dream of every student who has obtained a bachelor's degree as a sign of the end of their study period at a university. This is what Bella Mellisani S.Si recently experienced, a chemistry student class of 2009, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Tanjungura University (UNTAN) Pontianak. Bella started her education from Ketapang 7th State Elementary School (1997-2003). Then, Bella continued the 9 year compulsory education program at State Junior High School 3 Ketapang (2003-2006).  According to her juniors, Bella always gets a ranking in her class because of her never-ending study efforts. Entering adolescence, after completing her education at SMP N 3 Ketapang, Bella continued her education at State High School 3 Ketapang (2006-2009).

In 2009, Bella graduated from SMA Negeri 3 Ketapang and continued her education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak (2009-2013). After 4 years of college, finally in the ninth semester Bella was able to complete her research entitled "Synthesis of Sand Coated with Manganese Dioxide to Reduce Iron (II) Content".  During her research, Bella often got unsatisfactory results so she had to repeat it several times and this really trained her patience. However, this did not make him lose his enthusiasm. According to Bella, the mistakes that had been made increased her experience in working in the laboratory. Apart from that, there is definitely a feeling of fatigue during her research, because Bella has a lab schedule every day from morning to afternoon and sometimes even until night. The feeling of tiredness seemed to disappear when there was support and encouragement from Mama Bella, Supervisor Mr. Gusrizal, S.Si., M.Si., and Mrs. Nelly Wahyuni,  S.Si., M.Si., friends of Chain 2009 and seniors who are both working on research.

WISDUA

What makes Bella proud is receiving the title of "Youngest and Fastest" graduate out of 44 graduates in November 2013 at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Tanjungpura University (UNTAN). Bella also said:

"To friends from the 2009 chemistry class at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and juniors to continue to be enthusiastic about studying. Don't ever think that studying or research is a burden that becomes an obstacle to completing your studies on time. Just live it diligently, because all the obstacles that exist are a process of self-maturation in how we respond to these obstacles." (Sony)
