Training Students To Become Champions In The Force Scientific Writing Competition

The Force Scientific Writing Competition (LKTI) is one of the superior work programs owned by the Chemistry Student Association. This competition is always held every year for each generation. Of course, with the existence of LKTI, it is hoped that this class will be able to plant the seeds of champions who can later compete both on and off campus. Likewise, every student can develop their imagination and innovation in the field of chemistry study.

The management of the Chemistry Student Association for the 2016/2017 period has successfully implemented LKTI for students of the 2016 class. The theme carried out in the 2016 Class of LKTI activities is the Role of Chemistry in Natural Resources Innovation for the Progress of the Equatorial Earth. Class of 2016 students were given time to write scientific papers from November 8 2016 to February 15, 2017.

Sabrina Maulidya Amir, Head of the Reasoning and Scientific Division of the Chemistry Student Association for the 2016/2017 period, also admitted that she was proud of the 2016 class of chemistry students because they were so enthusiastic about taking part in the LKTI for this class. The 2016 class of students was divided into 27 teams and each team consisted of 3 people. Each team is guided by a mentor who has been prepared by the Chemistry Student Association. The mentors who guided the 2016 class of chemistry students were M. Irvan Maulana, Auditya Meidianto, M. Kafillah, Alvin Salendra, Darul Ikhwan, Maulini, Rizky Noviani R, Irene Utami, Nita Tiurlina Br. M., Petricia Suryandari, Zulenda, Tiara Ritma Ratri, Hairunisa and Mas Inda Putrinesia.

In the course of making the LKTI, chemistry students also received training regarding the procedures for writing LKTI, making slides, and how to make good presentations through the PROPEL work program (OSN Preparation and Scientific Writing Training). The 2016 Class of Students' Scientific Writing was corrected by the jury, namely Nurlina, S.Si, M.Sc and Intan Syahbanu, S.Si, M.Sc. The announcement of the top 5 LKTI Class 2016 finalists was held on March 3, 2017. The presentation of the top 5 LKTI Class 2016 finalists was held on March 8, 2017. At the end of the event, the announcement of the 2016 LKTI winners was also immediately announced.

First place was won by Nico Gustian, Uray Amira, and Flaviana with mentor M. Irvan Maulana. Second place was won by Titik Lestari, Rizky Fitriani F, and Syahrol Muslim with mentor Alvin Salendra. Third place was won by Indra Amin Jaya, Annisa Furqonita, and Melia Septiriyani with mentor Tiara Ritmaratri. The 1st runner-up was Supiatma, Elma Suryani, and Berta Juniarty A with mentor Darul Ikhwan. The second runner-up was won by Christina Dasilia, Riana Sagita P, and Ugo Sunarjo with mentor Alvin Salendra.
